Domestic Violence Survivors, Elected Officials, and Advocates to Rally on Steps of Capitol Ahead of Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Leaders to discuss need for greater commitment to combating domestic violence; mixer to follow

SACRAMENTO – Domestic violence advocates will join California lawmakers for a rally and mixer in advance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October) and highlight economic justice solutions for survivors, including AB 557 (Rubio).

DATE: Tuesday, SEPTEMBER 5

Rally – State Capitol, North Steps | 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Mixer – Capitol Plaza Ballrooms | 5:00-6:30 p.m.
