2023-24 Annual Report
This year, we experimented with many methods to bring attention to statewide cuts to domestic violence services. Jobi Wood— Survivor, Program Manager, and Partnership Board Member— shares her story of our advocacy:
“On April 30th in 100 degree weather, advocates came together in front of the Capitol building. We stood tall and proud in honor of the victims that never made it out. As an advocate, that is the proudest moment in my career. As someone who was once a victim, and had programs in place to help me become a survivor, that moment defined for me that I was and I am exactly where I am supposed to be: speaking up and speaking out for those who can’t. 2024 was a year for us to remember; to remember who we are and what we are capable of when we come together.“
Our advocacy doesn’t stop here. Join us in continuing to urge policymakers to fund domestic violence programs by donating today!
