Omaraid in the Immigration Services Manager at the Women’s Transitional Living Center. In her role as Immigration Manager, Omaraid is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the immigration department, performing legal research on Immigration and Family law issues, and aiding participants with their applications for various immigration reliefs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University of Long Beach and a Juris Doctor from Chapman’s Fowler School of Law. Omaraid began working in immigration in 2016 at the Bette and Wylie Aitken Family Protection Clinic where she assisted survivors of domestic violence with their U-visa applications. Since then her passion for immigration work has continued to grow and drive her to participate in various community events including the Public Law Center’s Naturalization Fairs.
