individual agencies often cannot.

Please summarize the Partnership’s priorities as you

The Partnership focuses its programming in four areas:
Public Policy, Capacity Building, Prevention, and
Communications. Across the programs, the Partnership
centers the needs of survivors and communities both within
current systems and by challenging inequities within systems.
Describe your leadership experience in business,
philanthropy, legal, government and nonprofit
sectors.
I have been in the field for over 25 years. I have been a
crisis counselor for sexual assault and domestic violence,
managed shelter programs, emergency response programs, crisis
lines, legal, prevention, school-based prevention, community
response, racial equity, policy, and administrative. I
have been a fundraiser and an administrator. I have a
background in internal systems work, reproductive justice work,
and in-home therapeutic services.
Board members help to foster a positive image of the
Partnership. Describe relationships you have with business
leaders, policy-makers, media outlets, philanthropists and the
broader community. Tell us how you intend to cultivate those
relationships on behalf of the Partnership.
I continue to have relationships local, statewide, and
national. I am happy to use these connections to drive
attention to the work of the staff at the Partnership and to
respond to requests of the staff. I just spoke at a
conference on decarceration and DV out of Chicago and named
some of the convening work the Partnership has done to lift up
the conversation. I will continue to left up the Partnership’s
work and may be a better fundraiser for the Partnership since
leaving my previous ED role. There is no longer the same
conflict that once existed.
Like other nonprofits, Partnership Board members are
expected to raise funds on behalf of the organization. What
will you do to help us meet our annual fundraising
goal?
I am happy to participate in fundraising efforts and to find a
way to support a Fund Development Plan as the new ED and staff
determine the direction.
