Practical Fundraising Strategies
Communications Learning Network
Date: Tuesday, November 7th
Time: 4:00 – 5:30 pm
Price: Free for members and their staff; $35/Non-members
A lot of traditional nonprofit communication advice doesn’t apply to domestic violence organizations, which is why we are starting a Communications Learning Network. Since giving season is approaching, our first webinar will be about fundraising.
Join us for a 90-minute fundraising workshop designed exclusively for professionals representing small and growing non-profits. In this dynamic session, you’ll learn practical fundraising strategies tailored to your organization’s lean budgets and small teams. Gain insights into digital fundraising tactics and tips that you can leverage with any size budget. Participate in engaging breakout group activities to brainstorm solutions to real-life fundraising challenges and connect with like-minded peers. Leave the workshop armed with actionable strategies to make a significant impact on your organization’s funding efforts.

Quincy is the Strategy Director for Humansize Communications—a small-and-mighty communications and fundraising consultancy supporting remarkable causes worldwide to create campaigns that drive real action. For over a decade, she has been helping brands, foundations, and human beings from coast-to-coast tell their stories online – from 280-character nibbles to full-course meals of fundraising, paid media, and content strategy. She has worked with equity-focused organizations of all shapes and sizes, including the LA County Department of Mental Health, 1% for the Planet, A Call to Men, Lonely Whale, and many more. When she’s not wordsmithing or dreaming up engagement strategies, you can find her exploring the mountains of Colorado with her husband and her loveable mutts. She is a dedicated supporter of local violence prevention efforts and works to advance racial equity and environmental justice in her hometown near Denver.
