The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (the Partnership) creates change to prevent and end domestic violence in California by mobilizing over 1,000 survivors, advocates, organizations, and allies.
Our key strategies include setting strong policy, strengthening the domestic violence field, solutions-focused communications, and advocating for prevention programs and healthy communities.
- Donate to the Partnership so we can lead the charge to end domestic violence. Your contributions fuel our ongoing work and rapid response to evolving risks that impact survivors statewide. You can help stop funding cuts and other harmful policies, invest in community work to prevent domestic violence, and address the most pressing crises affecting survivors, including housing, economic insecurity and lack of access to support.
- Give to your local domestic violence program. Local programs are hubs of social change in their communities. They need your partnership to ensure that survivors get the support they need AND break intergenerational cycles. Whether that’s through volunteering or donations, your donation is important. In the link above, take a look at our list of programs across California to find one close to you.
If you don’t see what your role is yet, explore some starting points:
- Become a part of the movement by supporting survivors. Learn the signs of abusive behavior, and don’t be silent if you see it. If you know someone who is struggling in a physical and/or emotionally abusive relationship, show you care by listening, believing them, and connecting them to their local domestic violence organization.
