About
Campus Advocacy, Resources and Education (CARE) provides prevention education for the UC Merced community to achieve an environment free from the threat of sexual violence, dating/domestic violence and stalking. We provide free, confidential and knowledgeable support for those impacted by sexual violence, dating/domestic violence and stalking.
- If you have experienced sexual harassment or sexual violence, you can receive confidential support and advocacy at the Campus Advocacy Resources & Education (CARE) Office, via phone: 209-228-4147 or in person: Kolligian Library Suite 107.
- In addition, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides confidential counseling to all students and can be reached via phone: 209-228-4266 or at the H. Rajender Reddy Health Center.
- You can report sexual violence or sexual harassment directly to the University’s Title IX Coordinator, Michael Salvador, via email msalvador2@ucmerced.edu or by phone 209-285-9510. Reports to law enforcement can be made to UCPD via phone: 209-228-2677 or by dialing 911.
