California Partnership to End Domestic Violence to celebrate Orange Day at the Capitol
Rally encourages action on Teen Dating Violence
Sacramento, CA – Alongside youth and adult advocates, as well as legislators, the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (the Partnership) will hold a rally to commemorate Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month. Speakers will discuss the prevalence and dynamics of teen dating violence, and encourage adults to support young people in developing healthy relationship skills. There will be a special emphasis on the role of schools in ensuring students’ safety and well-being in relationships. Immediately following the rally will be a free professional networking mixer at Ambrosia, co-hosted by the Partnership and the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault. Mixer guests will learn how they can participate in the movement to end sexual and domestic violence.
When and Where: Tuesday, February 13, 2018 – California State Capitol
