Elected officials, advocates to rally on steps of Capitol to grow state domestic violence funds
Educational briefing to follow

Sacramento, CA – The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (the Partnership) will convene coalition members, legislators and allies for a Capitol rally to fund lasting solutions to domestic violence in the state budget. Afterward, there will be an educational briefing on domestic violence in California, in which panelists will discuss how social norms about sexual harassment and gender equality contribute to domestic violence, and investigate prevention strategies for safer communities.

When and Where:   
Thursday, January 4, 2018 – California State Capitol

  • Rally: 10-11 a.m. – North Steps
  • Educational Briefing: 11 a.m.-noon – Capitol Room 437
