Do you ever feel anxious about public speaking? Wonder where to start with difficult topics? Join the Partnership’s Prevention team for a dynamic training to enhance your skills with facilitating critical conversations.

We recognize discussing domestic and sexual violence can be challenging. There are times you have all your materials prepped and ready, then find you must pivot to meet the audience’s needs. In this training, our team will provide strategies for engaging audiences of different ages. You will learn the ins and outs of public speaking, developing plan a – z, and how to handle disclosures when out in the community. During our time together, you will have opportunities to collaborate with  other participants to try on the new learnings.

Note:

  • ASL and additional spoken language access is available upon request (please register by January 15th to ensure interpreter availability).
