Alison Jacques
Supervisor II, Waymakers
Alison Jacques is a Supervisor II under the Victim Assistance Programs (VAP) within Waymakers. With over five years of experience in the victim services and child dependency field, Alison has dedicated her career to supporting clients by helping to alleviate the trauma and devastating effects of crime on victims and their families. Committed to empowering victims and promoting healing, she specializes in providing comprehensive support services to victims, and her empathetic approach and expertise in trauma-informed care has helped clients successfully navigate the juvenile justice and dependency system while accessing vital resources.
Passionate about community education, Alison regularly conducts trainings on the Waymakers’ Victim Assistance Programs and the impact of crime on victims for local organizations in an effort to bridge a gap in services for the communities she serves.
Alison holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Services with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University. She is certified in Domestic Violence Advocacy, Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy, Crisis Intervention and is a certified Mediator. Alison is part of a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) with the Child Abuse Services Team (CAST) and also serves on the Policy Board for CAST to further advocate for victims’ rights.
