I was raised in the Central Valley and serve my community professionally as a program manager for a school-based youth prevention program that aims to address teen dating violence and work towards ending domestic violence/sexual assault. I have experience working as a case manager for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. I also have been able to work as a program manager for folks with developmental disabilities. Across all of these disciplines, I witnessed a need for continued advocacy to create comprehensive policy that actively works toward addressing these issues by empowering communities and providing equitable access to support services. Prevention work means being a tool for change, and it is something I am incredibly proud to be a part of.
