PPN Webinar: Restorative Justice
November 21st
10:30-12:00pm PST
Free and open to everyone!
The goals of the presentation will be to think through accountability more generally as a process and to redefine it in a way that inspires people to feel comfort in learning and unlearning. Guest speaker, Andrew Guerrero (any / all pronouns) will challenge the contemporary survivor and victim services field to have a culture shift in how we talk about people who cause harm and discuss some of the challenges around the implementation of restorative justice, specifically in the context of higher education. We will also be discussing restorative justice in a way that encourages practitioners in this field to consider alternatives to accountability.
