Date: Took place Jan 18, 2024
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
This training discussed key appellate cases published in 2023 that affect survivors of domestic violence. After viewing, advocates for domestic violence survivors will better understand how particular cases may affect their work and the experience of survivors in court. The training also provides practice tips and pointers for using the cases for the benefit of survivors and hopefully improve their outcomes in court. The Family Violence Appellate Project provided 2.25 general MCLE credits for this training. Those who are viewing online can apply for MCLEs after viewing the recording by contacting training@fvaplaw.org
