Within the space of prevention work, efforts are often directed at youth and how they can cultivate healthy relationships. However, as a unified community, we all share the responsibility of ending violence. Narika’s new prevention program , S.A.P.H.A.L (South Asian Parents/Caregivers: Heal And Learn) aims to do exactly this; creating safe spaces for parents and caregivers of the South Asian community to learn with each other on how we can best build a community of care that actively promotes healthy relationships. Join facilitators from Narika in conversation on culturally responsive parenting practices when serving families from collectivist cultures.
